Everything You Need to Know About Sindh NADRA

Have you ever wondered what the history of Sindh NADRA is? Do you know how it was started and by whom?

While NADRA was originally created in the country of Pakistan, you may be interested to know that Pakistan’s neighbor India also has its own state-run biometric database system.

In this piece, we’ll discuss everything about Sindh NADRA – from how it works and where it stands today to its history – so that you have all the information you need to answer this question in the future!

Take a photo of your CNIC

Sindh NADRA was established in 2001 and is responsible for issuing National Identity Cards (CNICs) to Pakistani citizens.

If you're a Pakistani citizen, you're required by law to have a CNIC. Here's everything you need to know about them.

You can apply for a CNIC at any age, but you must be at least 18 years old to get one.

The process is simple: just fill out an application form and submit it along with some supporting documents.

It usually takes about two weeks to get your CNIC, but it can take longer if there are any issues with your application.

Once you have your CNIC, you'll need to keep it safe and renew it every five years. Make sure you also update your information when necessary.

For example, if you've changed your name or moved since the last time you renewed, that needs to be updated on your card as well.

If you find yourself without a valid ID card, you can use any of these other forms of identification instead:

Driver's license or passport issued by Pakistan; driver's license issued by any country; birth certificate issued by Pakistan; voter ID card issued by Pakistan; military ID card issued by Pakistan; employment ID card issued from Pakistan; photo driving license issued from abroad (with proof of residence); photo firearms license issued from abroad (with proof of residence); ration card issued by Pakistan; student ID card issued by Pakistan; bank account passbook with photo of the account holder

How to fill in the forms online

The first step is to go to the website and click on the green Register Now button. Once you’re on the registration page, you will need to select your country of residence and whether you’re a Pakistani citizen or not.

If you are a Pakistani citizen, you will need to enter your national ID number. If you are not a Pakistani citizen, you will need to enter your passport number.

After that, you will need to create a username and password. Once you have registered, you will be able to login and fill out the form. Here are the steps for filling in the forms:

1) In Section A, provide information about yourself such as your name, address and contact information

2) In Section B-A6, provide information about who needs an ID card

They accept bank transfers but would prefer if customers paid cash in person so they can verify each transaction to ensure the applicant's identity.

So head over to the nearest branch today to learn how you can become a proud owner of this important document! The process is fairly simple and should only take a few minutes.

Once you've filled out the necessary forms, all you'll need to do is wait for your confirmation email. Then, bring your confirmation notice with you to the selected Sindh NADRA office and wait in line to get your picture taken and fingerprints scanned.

After waiting a little longer, your documents will be printed and processed and voila! Your new ID card will finally be ready for pickup!

You can use this government-issued document to register a marriage, purchase land, open a bank account or even buy alcohol without having to show proof of age. Your age will automatically appear on the front of the card.

What are the documents needed?

To get started with Sindh NADRA, you'll need to have a few documents on hand. These include your Pakistani national ID card, your birth certificate, and your Pakistani passport.

If you're a foreigner, you'll also need a copy of your Pakistani visa and work permit. Finally, you'll need two recent passport-sized photographs of yourself.

One should be bareheaded and the other wearing a headscarf. They should be in front of a white background.

What are the requirements?: Besides these documents, there are certain requirements that must be met in order to become a citizen with Sindh NADRA. For example, you must make an oath of allegiance before any representative office or agent authorized by the Pakistan government in order for your application to be processed.

In addition, applicants for registration must give consent for their biometric data (fingerprints) to be shared with Pakistan's law enforcement agencies so they can help investigate crimes and terrorism cases as well as assist in immigration enforcement efforts. Applicants will also need to provide proof of residency in Sindh province.

All documentation will be verified against records maintained by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). The document verification process is often time consuming and costly, which may result in delays or refusal of applications.

Individuals who do not meet all of the criteria may still apply for 'voluntary' registration with Sindh NADRA. The main advantage to voluntary registration is that it does not require making an oath of allegiance before any authority or agreeing to share biometric data.

It is also possible to renew a voluntary registration if one already exists. If you don't currently have a voluntary registration but would like to obtain one, then you'll need to submit:

  • 1) your original Pakistani identity card;
  • 2) photo of identification card;
  • 3) photo of personal record sheet;
  • 4) photo of residence document;
  • 5) two pictures of self;
  • 6) four pictures of house. As with new registrations, individuals who want voluntary registrations but don't meet all the criteria may be denied.

Where should you apply and when should you apply?

Sindh NADRA is responsible for issuing Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) to the residents of Sindh. The process of applying for a CNIC is relatively simple.

You can apply for a CNIC at any time, but it is recommended that you apply at least six weeks before you need it.

To apply for a CNIC, you will need to fill out an application form and submit it along with two recent passport-sized photographs and proof of your identity and address. Once your application has been processed, you will be issued a temporary CNIC, which will be valid for six months.

After six months, you will need to go through the biometric verification process in order to receive your permanent CNIC. If there are no issues with your fingerprints or retina scan, then you should have received your new card within one week.

If there are any problems, then the card may take up to four weeks to arrive. In this case, you should contact Sindh NADRA by phone or email to ask what the problem was and when you might expect your card.

If they do not provide an answer, you should call again later on or send another email message. If you live outside of Pakistan, then it is possible to get your CNIC online.

However, if you live in Pakistan, you must apply for a CNIC at your local NADRA office. It does not matter if the card is being requested for someone else or if the applicant already has a valid Pakistani ID Card; anyone who wants a Sindh NADRA card must follow these steps.

Applying for a CNIC is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is fill out an application form and include two recent passport-sized photographs as well as proof of your identity and address.

When submitted, the forms will be reviewed and after six months, provided all documents are found to be valid, the applicant will receive their provisional identification card which can be used until receiving their formal one after completing biometric verification requirements.

For those living outside of Pakistan, there is an option to apply online; however applicants residing in Pakistan must visit their nearest NADRA office where they’ll also need to present additional proofs of address such as utility bills and bank statements dated less than three months ago.
