If you love FPS games and have been playing Garena’s free shooter, Free Fire, then you’re going to love this latest development! Yesterday, Garena announced that there would be new upcoming events within the game. Specifically, Garena revealed that there will be Easter-themed skins coming to the game in March. There will also be new maps for Zombie mode, which will start in February and end in May (so get ready to save those humans!). With all of these additions, players can look forward to more ways to enjoy this game!
What is #FFWars?
FFWars is a new event that will be taking place within the game of Free Fire. This event will last for two weeks and will feature two teams of 50 players each battling it out on a special map. Where will it take place?
The event will take place on the Garena campus in Singapore. This is the first time an event of this magnitude has been held in Singapore, so we're extremely excited to be able to bring it to our players. The event will feature a variety of different activities, including a cosplay competition, a dance competition, and more. We can't wait to see what our players come up with! What are the prizes?
The top prize is 500 diamonds, which can be used to purchase in-game items, and a special Champion title. There are also smaller prizes of 200 and 100 diamonds. To participate, simply log into the game and look for the event icon on the main screen. Good luck! A lot of people seem to be asking what's going on with many players who've suddenly stopped playing after they won one of the large prizes. They get worried that they'll only get the small rewards and their hard work will go to waste. But don't worry! If you were one of those lucky winners, congratulations! You've just unlocked a brand new champion for Free Fire.
After we got some more information from our Garena representatives about how the rewards would work, we want everyone who participates in this event know that if they're lucky enough to win one of the large prizes, then yes - that does mean they'll automatically unlock a champion from their own personal library. However, there are other ways to unlock champions in Free Fire, so it's not as though you need to play an entire season of matches just to access them anymore. The new reward system will allow you to continue unlocking champions without having to worry about losing your progress when you do happen to win one of the larger prizes.
And hey, even if you weren't able to win any of the large prizes, no worries - we've still got over 150 other things for you to spend your diamondson in-game items and customizable character slots!
